HND CHILDHOOD PRACTICE Entry requirements. HNC CP (96 SCQF credits) plus 24 SCQF credits from relevant units in the HND Childhood Practice Framework. We welcome applications from people with relevant life and work experience. An Enhanced Disclosure Scotland application is required. This will be carried out with the college if a place is offered.HND ACCOUNTING
The course covers all aspects of accounting practice, and includes opportunities for work placements and volunteering. You will learn more about management and financial accounting, business taxation, skills in researching, evaluating and interpreting financial data, awareness and application of current accounting standards and legislation, providing information for decision-making and control. SVQ 3 SOCIAL SERVICES AND HEALTHCARE The Level 3 Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 7 allows candidates to demonstrate competence in job related skills in their particular area of work. COSCA 1-4 COMPLETE COURSE COSCA 1-4 COMPLETE COURSE. This course is intended for a wide variety of people who wish to know more about counselling skills and approaches. Start date: 31 August 2021. Day of week: Tuesday – some Saturday attendance required. Time: 6pm– 9pm. Duration: 35 weeks. Cost: £900 ( PFG funding available) ESOL | WEST LOTHIAN COLLEGE Completion of an ESOL course opens up opportunities for progression onto further study, with Level 5 needed to progress into full-time study in an area of the college. Once completed, ESOL will also assist with progression into employment. Of last year’s graduates, 100% progressed to further study or employment, with 32 out of 34 of thesePLATINUM SALON

Successfully passed Introduction to Construction Skills or Preparation for Construction or; Have theory and practical experience at level 5 (practical woodworking or craft skills); maths level 5 and communication level 5. Those without the above qualifications but with relevant life or work experience are encouraged to apply. HND ENGINEERING SYSTEMS HND ENGINEERING SYSTEMS. This course is intended for those wishing to pursue a career in engineering at more advanced technician or engineer level. ACCOUNTING & FINANCE As a college, we offer a range of accountancy courses at a variety of different levels, from Level 5 up to Level 8 (HND) to prepare you for employment and further study within this industry.
