Staff. Kevin O’Halloran became Executive Director of VCCA in February 2020, after being appointed as Interim Executive Director in August 2019 and Board Treasurer in November 2018. He brings more than 30 years of nonprofit management and fundraising experience to the role. He holds an A.B from Harvard and an M.A. from the University ofVirginia.
INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS Schwandorf, Germany. Six-week residency opportunities, May 25 – July 3, 2020, are provided for four VCCA Fellows (two visual artists, a writer, and a composer). Private rooms, a shared living area, and kitchen are provided, as well as a daily stipend. You can learn more about this location on their website. FINANCIAL INFORMATION The cost of a VCCA residency is $150 per artist/per day which includes an individual studio, private bedroom, private bath, and three meals each day. We ask you to contribute a minimum payment of $75 per day (half the cost of the residency) and welcome a per diem payment up to the full daily cost of $150 per day if you are able. MOULIN À NEF STUDIOS, HOUSING, & MEALS Regardless of where you come from, we believe you’ll find your residence at Moulin à Nef to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. ------------------------- Since 1971, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) has provided uninterrupted time and space for artists to produce the finest works of literature, visual art, and music. VCCA hosts over 400 Fellows each year at two locations: Mt. San Angelo in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Amherst, Virginia, and the Moulin à Nef,in Auvillar France.
