MP: I was born in Athens (Greece) and grew up in Sitia, Crete; a small town of 10.000 people located in the northeast edge of the island. It is a beautiful place where agriculture is the mainstay of the local economy, mainly olive tree cultivation. Here, everybody is aURBANAUTICA
The project is interested in the changing character of the urban street in times of war and peace. "The Street Becomes" is entirely based on archival images by other photographers. One part of the images comes from the private archives of local Washington DC photographers who documented the Latino Festival during the 70s and80s.

Greetings from the Parade Ground is a portfolio about my neighbourhood. Here, I discovered the post-military landscapes that triggered my interest in learning about their history. In the 19th century, the area was described as »low quality agricultural land«, a sand-dune terrain.URBANAUTICA
After the conquest of Lybia, the Italian government was in the need of an explosive factory away from the borders with France and Austria. Two Italian entrepreneurs – Leopoldo Parodi Delfino and Giovanni Bombrini – chose an abandoned sugar factory in Sacco Valley, an area south of Rome, as the perfect place to convert in an explosivefactory.

The last big piece I did in Prague was a huge sculpture; that was installed at the banks of the Vltava river, by the Kampa Museum.It's called Tower, about 6 meters high, with wheels in circular tunnel shape that were built as a recycling center, serving both as sculpture and educational piece, informing the public about the electronic wasterecycle.

Salt is in our blood. Fundamental to human life, for millennia we have sought out salt. One of the most endangered ecosystems on the Great Plains are 1,000 acres of inland saline wetland made from Mesozoic-era salt deposits in southeastern Nebraska (in the midwest of the UnitedStates).

After the conquest of Lybia, the Italian government was in the need of an explosive factory away from the borders with France and Austria. Two Italian entrepreneurs – Leopoldo Parodi Delfino and Giovanni Bombrini – chose an abandoned sugar factory in Sacco Valley, an area south of Rome, as the perfect place to convert in an explosivefactory.
URBANAUTICA
The project is interested in the changing character of the urban street in times of war and peace. "The Street Becomes" is entirely based on archival images by other photographers. One part of the images comes from the private archives of local Washington DC photographers who documented the Latino Festival during the 70s and80s.

The last big piece I did in Prague was a huge sculpture; that was installed at the banks of the Vltava river, by the Kampa Museum.It's called Tower, about 6 meters high, with wheels in circular tunnel shape that were built as a recycling center, serving both as sculpture and educational piece, informing the public about the electronic wasterecycle.
