UKRIO defines misconduct in research as including, but not limited to: a) Fabrication; b) Falsification; c) Misrepresentation of data and/or interests and/or involvement; d) Plagiarism; and e) Failures to follow accepted procedures or to exercise due care UKRIO » CONCORDAT SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOL The Concordat to Support Research Integrity is the UK’s national policy statement on research integrity. Devised by a broad group of Signatories, with expert assistance from UKRIO, the Concordat sets out five commitments that those engaged in research must make to help ensure that the highest standards of rigour and integrity aremaintained.
