When Edward Albert Buehler came home to Troy Township at the conclusion of World War I, he thought of a great way to supplement his family’s income from their farm, located along Rochester Road at Creston just north of Long Lake Road. They would use mineral water from their farm pond to fill a public swimming pool. TROY HISTORIC VILLAGE Digger’s Summer Story Time. Meet Cheddar’s friend, Digger the Groundhog, listen to read-alouds of storybooks, enjoy a snack, and play “I-Spy” to find artifacts in our historic buildings. Great for children who have “graduated” from Cheddar’s Preschool StoryTime.
