We are located near Twin Cities Metropolitan Area Transit System ARTIFACT COLLECTIONS FROM THE BAKKEN MUSEUM Lydia E. Pinkham, who created this remedy, was a trailblazer of the 19th century. This book, handwritten by Belgian monks in 1280, is the oldest piece in The Bakken Museum’s collections. Well, technically, it’s tied for oldest with the other volume in the collections. This plunger’s been on a high seas adventure.CALENDAR OF EVENTS
The Bakken Museum has partnered with Wayward Theatre Company to bring you live performances on our green roof this summer. Join us for Wayward’s popular storytelling show, Mixtape: True Tales Told, with a brand-new theme, I Forgot How To Do This - Stories to help get backin the swing.

We expect visitors to spend 30 minutes in the Spark exhibit. Most visitors to The Bakken Museum VOLUNTEER | THE BAKKEN MUSEUM Ensure a safe, respectful, and inspirational environment in the museum. Welcome museum visitors and offer individualized support, guidance, conversation, demonstrations and lend an ear for the many stories visitors may tell. Collaborate and cooperate with museum staff and other volunteers. Promote Bakken programs and upcoming events.SUMMER CAMP
Camp innovation. Camp Innovation at The Bakken Museum is a week-long summer program for students to design and build their inventions. This project-based learning approach will flex their mental muscles, ignite problem-solving skills, and be a ton of fun. FIELD TRIP REGISTRATION REQUEST Registration for on-site field trips to The Bakken and The Pavek Museums for the 2021-2022 school year opens on May 3, 2021.
