BLIND SPOT CHIME
I have a new 2021 M3 SR+. I can't seem to get the blind spot chime to work. I've had Tesla mobile out to look at it. They think that you have to be danger close to another vehicle to hear it. They suggest I take it to a service center to see if the sensors need adjustments.Does the chime work

They had no problems doing the alignment so it doesn't seem like there's anything special on the Tesla's. Additional info, just for reference: Model 3 mid range rear wheel. Here is the trick I learned from the Tesla rep after 90 minutes on the phone. Go in and do your manage section in your Tesla account. If you have an edit button you can use that. If you don’t, Go to the trade in section and push the other button. Now the TIRE REPAIR KIT OR NOT? If I get a tire leak or flat, my sequence of repair options are 1) Add air and see if I can make it to a service station, 2) plug the leak with plug repair kit, 3) use the tire sealant kit and drive to nearest service station. Yes, they do advertise the same "170 miles in 30 minutes" charge rate for the long range M3, but since the M3 uses less energy to go that 170 miles, it would indicate less power. Back of the envelope calculations show that (170 miles / 0.5 hours) * (254 Wh / mile) =86.36kW.

3D-PRINTABLE PHONE HOLDER FOR ORIGINAL MODEL 3 CONSOLE I have the original Model 3 console and I've never liked the built-in wires for charging because of phone case sizes, etc. Also, in the rare instance I am using the phone while driving, I want it to remain plugged in. I suspect each new build ends up on the bottom. Correct - if you try to add to the middle of a poll you lose the results. I have a new 2021 M3 SR+. I can't seem to get the blind spot chime to work. I've had Tesla mobile out to look at it. They think that you have to be danger close to another vehicle to hear it. They suggest I take it to a service center to see if the sensors need adjustments.Does the chime work
