DIY: MAKING A MINI-LIGHT BOX FOR PRESCHOOL For the mini-light box you need to purchase an aluminum foil roasting or cake pan with a lid. The foil pan is perfect because it reflects light and it is not see through. The lid needs some frosting so I used my Plastic Primer and Frost Paint inside the lid to frost it up! I put two layers of frost paint and still think I may go back and add SIMPLE FALL LEAF FINGER PAINTING IN PRESCHOOL To make these fall leaves, mix up a little paint with glue then set out a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper. Put a glob of each color of glue/paint on the wax paper then place another sheet of wax paper over the top. Invite your students to rub their fingers or hands on top of the wax paper to spread the paint around. HOT COCOA ACTIVITY BOX FOR PRESCHOOL I posted before on activity boxes we use in preschool and this week, for a little dramatic play and fine motor fun, our curriculum coordinator put together a cute little hot cocoa box. Inside the box is a baggy filled with scrunched up construction paper pieces for the hot cocoa mix. Some cotton balls for the marshmallows. SNAP PAINTING IS VERY MESSY IN PRESCHOOL Snap painting is very messy in preschool. I have been wanting to try snap painting for some time now so this week I decided just to give it a go. I gave each child a metal cookie sheet that I got from the Dollar Store and set out the rubber bands we use for our DIY Geoboards. The children have been doing a lot of designs over the pastfew
