Tower defence retrospective. Tower defence is a group of games, where enemies wave by wave attack your home trying to destroy it. To defend it, you place towers that shoot near enemies. Usually there are multiple types of towers and multiple types of enemies – each enemy is vulnerable to a specific type of tower. THE ONLINE PENCIL CHALLENGE The online pencil challenge. I used to play the famous Ball Point Game when providing Scrum training or introducing the Agile and Scrum way of working in teams. Now with all the remote sessions and training’s I created a nice and energetic online replacement. Instead of tennis balls the participants choose an object everyone have. Timing – Approximately 30 minutes to run the exercise, including debrief, but you need to set up the ‘boards’ in advance. It is a card game to teach Scrum values and roles. THE HERCULEAN DOUGHNUT Materials: The Team, White Board, Pre-written out index cards, Blank index cards, Pen, some method of sticking cards up (magnets, bluetac etc) Instructions: Draw a big circle on the whiteboard, inside that draw a smaller but reasonably sized circle in the middle. You should now have something that resembles a ring doughnut.
