Exhibition Hall. This Exhibition Hall was built upon the design of Mr. Magoichi Noguchi at Kobe city in 1908, and removed and reconstructed in our garden after Hanshin-Awaji earthquake disaster in 1995. Herbal medicine specimens such as Bear Bile, Oriental Bezoar and Oyster Shellare displayed.

Established in 1933 as a cultivation area for medicinal plants, Kyoto Takeda Herbal Garden (now Takeda Garden for Medicinal Plant Conservation, Kyoto) has gathered numerous medicinal and other useful plants from around the world for experimental purposes.EVERY FIELD
Exhibition Hall. This Exhibition Hall was built upon the design of Mr. Magoichi Noguchi at Kobe city in 1908, and removed and reconstructed in our garden after Hanshin-Awaji earthquake disaster in 1995. Herbal medicine specimens such as Bear Bile, Oriental Bezoar and Oyster Shellare displayed.

Its plant height is 30 to 60 cm. The name of the Japanese herbal medicine ""Ougon"" meaning ""yellow"" is derived from the color of the Scutellaria baicalensis root. This perennial can be found in Japan from Hokkaido to Kyusyu, along the Korean peninsula, and in China. Its plant height is 10 to 20 cm. The spathe is formed in April or May. It is known as awkward weed because of its ability to propagate not only from tubers but also from seedsand bulbils.

Medicinal use: hematinic, cardiotonic and analgesic. Main component: ligustilide. The plant is set into the ground after its main buds hollow out and form flower buds. This technique was first used in Japan. The name of the herbal medicine is "Japanese Angelica Root". The root is boiled in water and then dried.ALEXANDRIA SENNA
Senna alexandrina Mill. Fabaceae. This plant is a perennial shrub, and grows wild in the southern part of India. The plant height is 100 cm and the flowering period is July to September. This plant is a tropical evergreen tree, and grows wild from northern part of Vietnam to Guangxi Province in China.
