With their delicious food, the best beers and ales, and relaxing atmospheres, you will have a great time if you visit them. Below I am going to take a look at what we believe to be the best country pubs in this area. SWINDON PUBLIC HEALTH BOSS SPEAKS ABOUT COVID STRAIN RENAMING He said in his latest message to the public: "You may have heard in the media this week the name ‘Delta’ used to refer to the B1.617.2 covid-19 variant first identified in India. YOUNG PEOPLE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC ABUSE HELPED BY The service helps people who have experienced abuse, witnessed it or both. Delivered by Swindon Domestic Abuse Service (SWA) and commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) the pilot offers one-to-one support for people aged 7-18 and helps them manage difficult emotions, learn about healthy relationships and develop coping strategies and problem FIRE SERVICE MAKES LIFE EASIER FOR WITNESSES The service says that experiencing something as unexpected as a fire, a collision, or any other form of rescue can be difficult, particularly if suffering or death are involved. WORK STARTS ON NEW SWINDON NEIGHBOURHOOD PUB The historic Swindon company also announced that the new pub is to be called The Strawberry Thief. Managing Director George Arkell was joined by Craig Morton of builders Edmont and North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson to mark the occasion. BOWOOD HOUSE TO HOST THE GREAT BALLOON RACE AND AERIAL The historic house at Derry Hill, 18 miles from Swindon, will plays host to the Great Balloon Race Extravaganza.. Three nights of aerial entertainment will fill the skies across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties as up to 50 of the best hot air balloons go ‘up, up and away’ before returning for what is billed as a dazzling night glow accompanied by the 80s Classics Orchestra.
