OUR SERVICES
Preventing suicide often requires the vigilance and intervention of many people, or many groups of people. All resources are complementary in this area, and each can be of key importance. This is why we consider it fundamental to offer psychosocial workers training and professional support adapted to their practices and their clientele.OUR TRAININGS
Helping people deal with suicidal tendencies is demanding and complex. If you have any questions following your training or regarding an intervention, you can contact us at 514-723-4000. A crisis worker will help you immediately. If your request requires more than this, an employee from Suicide Action Montreal can contact you.I NEED HELP
It’s not always easy to ask for help and it can be painful to talk about what’s troubling you, but asking for help is the first step to relieve yourself. Our volunteers are trained to team up with you, to help you find your solutions. They will not tell you what to do. The important thing is to allow you to explore your difficulties and SUICIDE: WARNING SIGNALS Withdrawal and abandonment of usual activities. Not paying attention to things that were important before. Neglecting a circle of friends or acquaintances. Avoiding physical contact.
