Today I want to share some words and a video on this lens from Voigtlander which is such a beautiful piece of glass. In fact, I firmly believe it is the best lens Voigtlander has made as I have said when I reviewed the Sony E mount version.I whipped up a video using this lens on the Leica SL2-S and Panasonic S5 and SPEAKER CABLES I REALLY LIKE FOR $20. The Falcon Ls3/5a is it’s own special thing, a speaker you would own in addition to something like a B&W 705 s2. Dynamic yet understated. Full yet never bloated. Clear yet not etched or clinical. A big midrange, never recessed. NOT perfect, but that is the beauty. HIFI: ROON NUCLEUS REVIEW AS A STREAMER VS INNUOS ZEN MINI A no regret purchase. I feel the Innuos Zen Mini MKIII is not the best if you want to use it as a Roon core and endpoint, as it (the app) can get sluggish. With the Nucleus in the mix, it was a much nicer experience. Even so, what if I removed the dedicated streamer (Zen), power supply, etc and replaced it with just the Nucleus feeding the HIFI: B&W 705 S2 SPEAKER REVIEW. SMOOTH OPERATOR. TWEET. TAKING THE WIDE PERSPECTIVE Taking the Wide Perspective – A User’s Review of the Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Asph VM (Leica M-mount) lens. By Ashwin Rao. THE VOIGTLANDER 75MM F/1.5 ASPH M-MOUNT LENS REVIEW BY The CV75mm f/1.5 is very well built, in line with Voigtlander’s recent offerings. Unlike the 35, 40, and 50mm f/1.2 Asph lenses, and the most recent “classic” offerings (21 f/3.5, 35mm f/2, and 50mm f/3.5), the CV 75 does not have a stainless-steel filter mount/front end, making it a bit more discreet for regular shooting (I like this). It’s a very nice camera with a 65mm lens which shoots a 6×9 negative. The lens is fixed. When I was researching these cameras on the Net, I discovered that an earlier version, the Fuji GL690, had interchangeable lenses. THE NAIM ATOM REVIEW. THIS HIFI “ALL IN ONE” CHALLENGED MY The Naim has more charm IMO. For me, the Atom is a winner as it does everything right from design, to build quality, to size, to packaging, to ease of use to including everything we needed in an audio product in one small box. The bonus is the sound quality which exceeded all ofmy expectations.
THE DYNAUDIO HERITAGE SPECIAL SPEAKER REVIEW. WORTH THE The original Dynaudio Special 25 were released in 2002 as a limited edition for $5200. Oh, that is $7100 in 2021 Money. About the same cost as the new Heritage Special today in 2021. I think the new Heritage Special look nicer, and even have magnetic grilles and more refined drivers. Take a look at the Dynaudio Special 25 thatcelebrated
FOLLOW UP! USING THE LEICA 55-135 T LENS ON THE T! LATEST One lens that grabbed my attention was the 55-135 F/3.5-5.6, which seemed like a versatile zoom range for this camera. This lens comes in at nearly $1800, so I wanted to see if it performed up to the normal Leica level I have grown accustomed to. TAKING THE WIDE PERSPECTIVE Taking the Wide Perspective – A User’s Review of the Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Asph VM (Leica M-mount) lens. By Ashwin Rao. Hi gang, I hope that everyone is staying safe during this most trying time for our world, with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak impacting so many communities, work, and recreation. A LOOK AT THE ZEISS 50 SONNAR ZM ON THE LEICA SL A look at the Zeiss 50 Sonnar ZM on the Leica SL. By Steve Huff. Ahhh the Zeiss 50 Sonnar C ZM lens. A sort of “classic” in the way it renders and draws, especially wide open with its classical bokeh andsubject isolation.
From Steve: Now that the Leica SL has dropped in price from $7500 to $5995 it is a GREAT buy, and yes, still very expensive but there is really no other camera like an SL with what it offers in build, performance and all around quality. A LOOK AT THE LEICA 50 SUMMILUX ASPH BLACK CHROME SPECIAL A Look at The Leica 50 Summilux ASPH Black Chrome Special Edition. Beautiful! Ahhhh, gorgeous! The 705 S2 is a small (but not tiny) two way bookshelf with a 6.5″ mid/woofer for the bass, and the tweeter (not the diamond of the 800 series) is pretty special here as it sits atop the speaker for a better integration between the drivers, and it THE KLIPSCH CORNWALL III SPEAKER REVIEW BY STEVE HUFF Well, these are “different” and produce sound in a way that no standard speaker can.
