Introduction. Stardog Knowledge Graph supports the SPARQL query language, a W3C standard for querying RDF graphs. In the RDF Graph Data Model tutorial we looked at the details of RDF graphs and in this tutorial we will learn how to query them.. Setup. We will use the music dataset in this tutorial and see many features of SPARQL withexamples.

Download and install Stardog. Create a Java project with Gradle. Build a database. Import data into the database. Query and update the database. All of the code for this tutorial is available in the stardog-examples repo on Github. IMPROVE DATA QUALITY WITH SHACL Improve the data quality of your Knowledge Graph. For a Knowledge Graph to be useful, it’s critical that the data be valid and consistent. Stardog offers tools to validate and enforce data integrity; namely SHACL, a declarative language for specifying constraints over RDF graphs. Constraints can find inconsistencies across your data silos HOW TO WRITE FAST SPARQL QUERIES Assuming that’s what we see, we move to #6 (otherwise we look at other potentially problematic joins in the plan and test them separately). Step 6—tearing apart problematic queries—is where query hints in Stardog 5 make your life easier. In earlier versions of Stardog, you’d have to put the two patterns above in differentsubqueries but
