OUR TEAM - SOCIETY FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Our Team. Professor Will Pope HonFSE CEnv. Chair. Will was a member of the initial, ambitious group who formed the Society for the Environment in 1999. Since then, he has held a number of key roles in the Society including Chair, Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Honorary Fellows Panel and Audit and Risk AssuranceCommittee.
SOILS AND STONES SECTOR TASK GROUP Urgent action is needed to ensure the protection of these natural resources, and this means we must improve understanding and practices across sectors including construction, forestry, engineering, and agricultural management. With this urgency in mind, SocEnv formed a SocEnv task group made up of Chartered Environmentalists. ENVIRONMENTAL APPRENTICESHIPS Environmental Apprenticeships. The awareness campaign aimed at showcasing the dedication of Chartered Environmentalists and they vital work they perform is estimated to have reached a quarter of a million people in August 2020 and included some inspiring contributions from around the world and across a spectrum of sectors and disciplines. LICENSED PROFESSIONAL BODIES Introduction. As an umbrella organisation, the Society for the Environment does not directly award the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) or Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) registrations to individuals. REGISTERED ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTITIONER (RENVP) Gaining environmental professional registration is a great way of demonstrating your competence. Registered environmental professionals (CEnv, REnvP and REnvTech) often cite increased confidence and professional credibility as direct key benefits of their registration.
