SUCCESSFUL 223 SUBSONIC LOADS -SILENCERTALK I switched to CCI Benchrest primers -- DON'T DO THIS. The load fizzled and I had a stuck bullet. I did some experimenting and found some other successful 223 loads, as follows: Bullet: 55 gr Sierra SPBT. Primer: Winchester SR. Powder: 4 gr Clays. Bullet: 68 gr Hornady BTHP (Match) Primer: Winchester SR. Powder: 5 gr Clays.
