WHERE WE ARE
As a volunteer, you participate in SCI’s activities through either a branch or a partner that is part of SCI’s movement. A branch is a full member of SCI and much better established within the movement. LONG-TERM VOLUNTEERING Long Term Volunteer Projects are open to all people without any distinction of sex, race, religion or ideology. There is no upper age limit, but volunteers need to be at least 18 years. Each project is different in terms of practical arrangements such as food and accommodation, pocket money, health insurance, travel costs to theproject, and

COVID-19. We are continuously working hard to make sure that our workcamps are safe for everyone involved and to offer online activities. When you apply to our projects, please make sure that your travel is compatible with the most recent travel and health measures taken by your country and the country of destination, as restrictions may apply (e.g. ban, quarantine, isolation). INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIAT The operative part of the SCI’s international coordination is guaranteed by the International Secretariat, an office of staff and volunteers based in Antwerp (Belgium). The IS supports the movement in its strategic goals, builds on achieved results and amplifies its impact. The staff and volunteers support with daily management and SCI HELLAS - KINISSI ETHELONTON SCI Hellas - Kinissi Ethelonton is part of the Greek section of the international organization SCI International, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020 and is, if not the oldest, one of the oldest volunteering organizations worldwide. Our vision is a world DE-SCI 12.25 LIVE BIG IN A TINY HOUSE (SCHLUCHSEE NEAR Description: Build a Tiny House together with other volunteers and learn more about minimalistic lifestyles. This workcamp takes place directly at the Schluchsee surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Black Forest. At the end of the camp, the participants should have acquired enough skills to be able to build their own Tiny House. PT-IPJ 11.1 FOR CLIMATE 2.0 Goals: 1) To raise awareness of the importance of youth mobilization and participation in solving local and global problems; 2) Promote youth participation and involvement in environmental and social issues; 3) Reflect on the causes and consequ DK-MS 5.3 NIBE FESTIVAL CAMP Nibe Festival Camp. Description: Nibe Festival is the 6. largest music festival in Denmark. It includes music of all sorts, but mostly Pop and Rock spread out on more than 100 concerts during the entire festival. The Botswana Workcamps Association (BWA) is a non-governmental, non-profit making voluntary organization registered with the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs in April 1980 under the Societies Act. Our institution organizes various non-formal, social, tourism and cultural programmes. It also offers accommodation and manages an equestrian centre with 20 horses, as well as a restaurant.
