People have many reasons for moving into a retirement village, combining the benefits of being in a private and secure environment with a home that is easily maintained. RETIREMENT VILLAGE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION Many of our committee members and RVRA members have been involved in these cases, and are willing to share their experiences, in the hope this may assist other residents. A number of these cases are summarised here, but a fuller account of the cases, and the lessons learned, are available on application to the RVRA Office. RETIREMENT VILLAGE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION The ARCF is the sum of the following fees and charges over an assumed residency period of seven years (84 months), averaged to a monthly figure: the total amount of recurrent charges payable under the village contract. the departure fee payable by the resident if the premises are permanently vacated at the end of that period; and.
