The Big Music Sunday Service – 6 June 2021WELCOME
In the current, disrupted world, the work of the Royal School of Church Music is more important now than at any time in the 93 years ofour history.
The RSCM is an educational charity, whose mission is to ‘promote the study, practice and improvement of music in Christian worship.’ We are supporting churches and church communities of all kinds, by ensuring that they have the support resources to sustain them through this challenging period of dislocation and disconnection – a new section of our website is HERE – and we are continuing to work to help musicians plan and develop skills for when a return to a more normal life is possible. _PSALLAM SPIRITU ET MENTE_ I will sing with the spirit and with the understanding also (1 CORINTHIANS 14:15)SAFEGUARDING
We hold to the core Christian belief that each person has value and dignity which comes directly from God’s creation of humanity in His own likeness. Among other things, this implies a duty to value each person as someone who bears the image of God and is loved equally by God, and therefore should be protected from harm.
