Venues start to awaken in March with the spring season and warmer temperatures blowing into the hills of ENTERTAINING IN THE OFF SEASON Branson winters are mild with just a few inches of snow each winter. I believe the average snowfall is somewhere around 7 to 9 inches per year. The temperatures are moderate and relatively nice. Branson is a good place to live if you don’t mind a few cold days and a teeny bit of snow. In January, the spring season is right around the corner! WE ALL HAVE OUR PRISONS TO ESCAPE If living near a prison is something that you won’t consider, don’t assume your realtor or anybody else will inform you of their locations. Branson Landing, home of this lovely walking path, sits on Lake Taneycomo. From my research, this section of Lake Taneycomo used to be part of White River until a dam was completed in 1913. We call it “the great outdoors”, “the wild”, “in nature” among other references to being outside. Funny how I think of going someplace with fewer people to find common ground with more people. They play big band music of the 1940’s and 1950’s to give you that experience of the time that railcars were new. That’s right, the train cars were collected from around the country and brought back to life in Branson.
