A qualified accountant, he has worked in senior finance posts with Ernst & Young, HSBC, WH Smith and the BBC before heading up Shoosmiths solicitors and latterly offering strategic senior management consultancy services.SYMPTOM CONTROL
Symptom management is used to improve the quality of life for children and young people living with a life limiting condition or who are at the end of their lives. The aim is to prevent or treat physical symptoms as well as psychological, social & spiritual issues. This care is delivered by a specialist team of nurses and doctors and a wider multi-disciplinary team. At Rainbows our aim is to RAINBOWS NEEDS HELP IN CREATING A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES Instead of donating chocolate this year, we are asking people in the East Midlands to stock our Virtual Easter Egg Basket. At Rainbows, because of dietary and medical considerations, only one in ten of the children we care for can actually enjoy eating chocolate. So this Easter, instead of giving a chocolate egg, we are encouraging our supporters to purchase a virtual Easter egg instead. By RAINBOWS' SPRING QUIZ Thank you to everyone who took part in the Spring quiz. SEVEN-YEAR-OLD LEICESTER BOY WALKS 100 MILES FOR RAINBOWS A seven-year-old rugby mad boy is taking on the mammoth challenge of walking 100 miles during April to raise money for Rainbows. Ethan Parsons, of Wigston, has decided he “wanted to do something to raise money to help poorly children” and came up with the idea of walking 100 miles over 31 days. Referrals can be for any child or young person, aged 0-30 years, living within the East Midlands.
