This exhibition of works from the series features 30 acrylic paintings on canvas from 1998-2005. Kids Art Camps. The Polk Museum of Art has three art camps that offer a fun, creative, and open environment to ages 7-13. The summer camp is a two week program, with four sessions. Presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Scholastic Awards initiative invited students grades 7-12 (ages 13 and up) to submit their original works produced across all media to have a chance to have their work recognized in TOULOUSE-LAUTREC’S VIVID WORLD COMES ALIVE AT THE POLK Lakeland, FL (January 19, 2021) – The Polk Museum of Art is thrilled to announce its newest — and largest ever — exhibition, “Toulouse-Lautrec and the Belle Époque,” opening February 13, 2021.Featuring more than 225 works, the exhibition offers visitors remarkable insider access to the world of Post-Impressionist artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, one of the greatest masters in the MAMIE HOLST: LANDSCAPE BEFORE DYING Landscape Before Dying is a series Holst began a few years after her return to Florida, a series she continues to work on. This exhibition of works from the series features 30 acrylic paintings on canvas from 1998-2005. ROBERT STACKHOUSE: SWIMMERS AND FLOATERS Robert Stackhouse: Swimmers and Floaters, 2007-2008. Robert Stackhouse is the most widely respected visual artist to have called Polk County home. He was born in Bronxville, New York in 1942, but moved to Polk County in 1954 to live with his grandparents. He lived at Lundy’s Fish Camp in Auburndale, graduating from Auburndale High School in1960.

Polk Museum of Art owns collections of Korean Silla period ceramic and metal objects that date from 300-900 CE; 19th and 20th Century Chinese and Japanese ceramics, ivories, and textiles; Chinese and Japanese scrolls; and Japanese woodblock prints.
