The Male Cancer Information Nurses work closely with health and social care professionals, other voluntary organisations, community groups and support networks, schools, universities and local companies to deliver education and health awareness programmes and ORCHID | ORCHID HELPLINE Orchid have therefore temporarily increased their National Male Cancer Helpline by introducing a Friday service. You will now be able to call our National Male Cancer Helpline and speak to our Nurses from 9.30am -5.30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The most common type of penile cancer is called squamous cell carcinoma. Around 95% of penile cancer will be of this type. Squamous cells are skin cells that can change over time (for instance due to infection with HPV) and become cancerous.
