RESOURCES - OPERATION LIFESAVER At Operation Lifesaver, it’s our goal to educate Canadians about the hazards surrounding railway property and trains. To do this, we produce a range of educational material that provides the information and tools Canadians need to stay safe. STOP TRACK TRAGEDIES General rail safety tips pamphlet. Whether you are on foot, in a car, or riding a bike or an off-road vehicle, staying safe around railway tracks and property is all about knowing the rules.
