MOBILITY FUNDING NEEDS - NORTHERN DIMENSION AREA > SURVEY On the Move is conducting a research on mobility and collaboration funding for the cultural and creative industries sector in Northern Dimension Area, namely: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia, and Sweden. The survey serves to map the needs of the artists, cultural and creative professionals in terms of mobility and cross-border collaboration in the region. The survey is open to individuals from the Culture and Creative Sectors, meaning artists, cultural and creative professionals from the 11 ND countries and their mobility patterns in the same targeted countries. PRELIMINARY FINDINGS' REPORT: TIME TO ACT: HOW LACK OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE CULTURAL SECTOR CREATES BARRIERS FOR DISABLED ARTISTS ANDAUDIENCES
How many programmers are actively seeking work by disabled artists? Do cultural venues have adequate engagement strategies to reach disabled people in their communities? These are some of the questions that the Time to Act report has posed in order to assess the knowledge (and lack of knowledge) amongst performing arts managers across Europe. TANZLABOR ULM: COMMISSIONS FOR DIGITAL DANCE MAKERS (GERMANY) TanzLabor – ROXY Ulm and Artistic Director Pablo Sansalvador are looking to commission five innovative ‘Digital Dance Makers’ to create five varied short choreographic works of 5-8 minutes. The movement of each of the Digital Dance Makers will be recorded through Motion Capture technology. This content will then be transformed into Augmented Reality, allowing each of the Digital Dance Makers to be visible and present within a larger dance installation performance called Tanz mit dem Tiger under the Artistic Direction of Pablo Sansalvador. ANABASIS ONLINE RESIDENCY FOR ARTISTS FROM GERMANY AND UKRAINE The residency ANABASIS inspired by Paul Celan, one of the most important German-speaking poets of the twentieth century, will feature German and Ukrainian artists working with new media. OPEN CALL FOR THE 10TH GEUMGANG NATURE ART BIENNALE 2022 (SOUTH KOREA) For its tenth edition, the 2022 Geumgang Nature Art Biennale aims to create a new discourse in nature art around the rewilding of nature and art, and calls for artworks under the theme of ‘Again, Multiplicities of Rewilding’. Artists can submit model drawings that will be presented at the 2021 Geumgang Nature Art Biennale Project Exhibition, running 28 August - 31 October 2021, with selected projects then supported to be fully realised in 2022. BRITISH COUNCIL: OPEN CALL FOR MID-CAREER VISUAL ARTISTS: NET//WORK ONLINE DIGITAL ARTS RESIDENCIES (ONLINE) British Council in partnership with Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridgeshire, and Digital Arts Studios, Belfast is pleased to announce the second round of Net//Work Online Digital Arts Residencies. Applications are open to mid-career visual artists based in South Africa, Nigeria, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Indonesia, Pakistan, or Malaysia who work creatively with digital technologies (work that is made or presented using digital technology).
