We’re working on ocean noise, dolphin health, and empowering communities to protect wildlife with low-cost toolkits.*
VIDEOS
Sometimes a video can tell a story better than a scientific paper can. See our collection here.*
OTHER RESOURCES
We’re committed to data sharing and collaboration. Download media-friendly information kits or raw data here. WELCOME! WE’RE OCEANS INITIATIVE. Founded by Dr. Erin Ashe and Dr. Rob Williams, we are a team of scientists on a mission to protect marine life, including whales, dolphins, sharks, salmon and seabirds, in the Pacific Northwest andbeyond.
Like the whales we study, we are highly migratory. We spend half our time getting our feet wet in the field, wherever our work is needed. The other half is spent using our science to inform smart decisions to conserve marine wildlife. Get to know us. Secret to a Sound Ocean from Oceans Initiative on Vimeo.
