NEW FOR 2021: TURKEY GUNS, CHOKES AND AMMO A truly new turkey gun for 2021 is the Henry Model H015T-12, a single-shot, break-action, 3½-inch chambered 12 gauge from Henry USA. It features a 24-inch barrel that is equipped with front and rear fiber optic sights and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The stock/forend are American walnut equipped with a recoil pad and slingswivel

Those deep-rooted plants need at least some moisture to sprout and get established, of course, but once they do, they can tolerate a lengthy dry spell. So can some shallow-rooted plants. ASK DR. TOM: DO HENS LEAVE THEIR NESTS OF EGGS TO ROOST AT The hen lays one egg a day in the nest until her clutch is complete with 10 to 12 eggs. During the egg-laying period she might kick a few leaves over the eggs when she leaves the site. In the two weeks the hen spends laying, she will roost in trees each night. Rub turkey roast with BBQ rub. Place turkey roast on smoker skin side up. Smoke five to eight hours or until internal temperature reaches 150-155degrees.

Rub turkey roast with BBQ rub. Place turkey roast on smoker skin side up. Smoke five to eight hours or until internal temperature reaches 150-155degrees.
