On Nov. 8, 2018, Alexa transformed NVCF into the lead philanthropic organization in the Camp Fire relief and recovery effort and has since built a COVID-19 response arm in efforts to help slow the pandemic and provide relief to at-risk populations. The Butte Strong Fund, a partnership of the North Valley Community Foundation, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the Aaron Rodgers NorCal Fire Recovery Fund, aims to provide long-term recovery to communities impacted by the Camp Fire. The Butte Strong Fund started in the immediate aftermath of Butte County’s devastating Camp Fire on Nov.8, 2018.

Wildwood Perinatal Collective will provide multidisciplinary integrative perinatal care for families in need. AARON RODGERS SMALL BUSINESS COVID-19 FUND Listed are the 79 locally owned small businesses in Butte County that have received substantial financial help from the Aaron Rodgers Small-Business COVID-19 Fund. These businesses will receive grants to help cover rent for, on average, two months or longer and/or other operation costs. Round one of the grants total $1,599,967.HELP | NVCF

MUSIC THERAPY IMPACT GRANT Music therapy is the use of evidence-based music interventions to address the spiritual, developmental, and physical needs of the whole person. The immediate goals of The Music Therapy Impact Fund are to: . Develop a Music Therapy Program for hospice and palliative care. Provide evidence that demonstrates the efficacy of music therapy in BRIDGING THE GAP FOR BREAST CANCER To provide funding for diagnostic testing and related services for women or men of any age residing in Butte, Glenn and Tehama Counties and have no other means to pay for these services. Funding also includes treatment for Lymphedema as a result of breast cancer treatment. Camp Fire Relief Fund. Through the Camp Fire Relief Fund, in the six months after the fire, we awarded 210 grants for relief and response. The funds were distributed to organizations and government agencies working directly with Camp Fire survivors, often in the form of direct assistance. The Camp Fire Relief Fund grant program closed April 2019. LOVE CHAPMANTOWN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION The Love Chapmantown Coalition participates in our community in south Chico for the betterment of all. We offer our gifts, talents, time, and resources to the vision of transforming our community and planting seeds of hope and love into the soil of a community that we love. BUTTE STRONG FUND
The Butte Strong Fund, a partnership of the North Valley Community Foundation, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the Aaron Rodgers NorCal Fire Recovery Fund, aims to provide long-term recovery to communities impacted by the Camp Fire. The Butte Strong Fund started in the immediate aftermath of Butte County’s devastating Camp Fire on Nov.8, 2018.
CAMP FIRE COLLABORATIVE The Camp Fire Collaborative was formed in late 2018 as a response to the destruction left behind after the Nov. 2018 Camp Fire to lead our community towards a healthy and thriving future. We recognize that the needs we have as a community are still being discovered and we must be intentional about facing the days to come.
