notMYkid is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides children and families with truly lifesaving programs, support, resources, and education. Our mission for the past two decades has been to empower and educate youth, families, and communities with the knowledge and courage to identify and prevent negative youth behavior. Our impact is far reaching. To date, we have served over 2 million individuals and aim to reach 75,000 annually through our statewide and nationalprograms.

notMYkid holds two events each year that serve as our largest source of private funding for our youth and family programs. Resilience, flexibility, and creativity have become the norm for our organization as we navigate a global pandemic. In our twentieth year of service, notMYkid remains strong. We have decided to postpone our annual gala until April 29th, 2022, and know in our hearts that brighter days are ahead! We are excited to announce that we will host a golf tournament on MAY 7THas our signature fundraiser for 2021! We will be outdoors, socially distanced, connected as a community, and raising critical funds that support Arizona youth. All proceeds ensure that our life-changing and life-saving prevention and treatment programs are available to all families in need. PROGRAMS
We are dedicated to helping youth overcome challenges during their most vulnerable years. Our programs are delivered in schools, community organizations, at the workplace, and direct to devices via our Podcast. The prevention topics we focus on include substance use, vaping, bullying, relationships, body image, depression/self-injury/suicide, and internet safety. notMYkid works to educate and provide coping skills to young people on a range of issues that preteens and teens face every day. With a goal to inspire positive life choices, notMYkid strives to realize the following outcomes through our Prevention Education programming: * Build students’ knowledge and social/emotional competencies to enhance resiliency, confidence, and character * Educate students and families on where to go and how to ask for help if they or someone they know is struggling with a mental or behavioral health issue AMPLIF AND LIFESKILLS TRAINING notMYkid offers two signature programs for youth in grades 5-12. Choose from our popular peer-led amplif programming or our 10-week LifeSkills Training offered in schools and community settings. amplif youth presentations aim to educate, empower and inspire youth with the knowledge and courage to make positive life choices. Botvin LifeSkills Training is an evidence-based curriculum that has been proven to be effective at reducing things such as youth substance use and violence, while teaching teen’s crucial knowledge and the ability to help them successfully navigate life.Learn More

One of the greatest hidden influences that impacts productivity in the workplace is the distraction of family issues.
