Rabbit. Neuter $70. Spay $90. Proof of an up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccine is required for surgery. A heartworm test is required for dogs 10 months of age or older. The Norfolk SPCA will no longer be vetting litters without a breeders license. . APPOINTMENT REQUEST FORM Appointment Request Form. Please provide a valid phone number that you can be reached during business hours. We will attempt to contact you no more than two times to arrange your appointment. The Norfolk SPCA treats, rehabilitates and rehomes household companion animals from throughout the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, and operates two veterinary clinics open to the public. One of the nation’s oldest animal welfare organizations, the Norfolk SPCA advocates for animals, offers educational programs, and supports partnerships with other shelters and animal control agencies. The Norfolk SPCA is a non-profit, private organization that relies solely on support from compassionate individuals, local businesses and otherorganizations.
