THE ORDER OF THE ARROW The Order of the Arrow is Scouting’s national honor society. Since its founding in 1915, the Order of the Arrow has recognized campers – Scouts and Scouters – who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL CAPITAL AREA COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS! National Capital Area Council, BSA delivers the promise of Scouting to youth in the Washington, D.C., metro area, including 16 counties in Maryland and Virginia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and U.S. citizens abroad in North and South America. Our programs teach young people to “be prepared!” for adventure, education, service, and leadership.
