IRISH PEAKS. Irish Peaks is Mountaineering Ireland’s new guide to hillwalking on Ireland’s highest mountains.. Irish Peaks is a large-format book, celebrating Ireland’s highest mountains through an inspiring collection of 71 hillwalking routes, covering all of Ireland’s main mountain areas. The route descriptions, which are illustrated by photographs, were contributed by MountaineeringMOUNTAINVIEWS
MountainViews.ie started in 2002 as a website to provide useful information about all of Ireland’s hills and mountains. The site provides information about the summits, their locations, their name origins etc. Try the site and find over 6000 comments on over 1000 summits with trip reports and information on parking, access, points of interest and photos.BECOMING A PROVIDER
The steps involved in becoming an MS 1 & 2 provider are as follows: You must have held an ML, IML, MCI (MIA), WMCI (MIC) or BMG for a minimum of 12 months before you can start to provide courses yourself. With this time, you must demonstrate continued development as an ML, IML, Winter ML or MCI (MIA) through personal and/or work activities.
