GEORGE STUBBS CONFERENCE ← WHAT'S ON ← MK GALLERY Book Tickets This conference explores the artistic achievement and legacy of George Stubbs in the context of the major monographic exhibition at MK Gallery, Milton Keynes. The exhibition presents the first significant overview of Stubbs’s work in Britain for more than thirty years and brings together over eighty paintings, drawings and publications, from the National Gallery’s iconic JAMES TEBBUTT ← MK GALLERY James Tebbutt lives and works in Northampton. Tebbutt’s work forms an ongoing exploration of the medium of paint. Tebbutt uses a variety of paint application styles: the drip, the splatter, the expressionistically painted, the flat, the cartoon like, the smooth and the rough mark the canvas.
