This expands on our existing relationship with Taylor & Francis which runs across multiple projects including the publishing of _Medical Teacher._ We plan to be open for new submissions in August 2021 and the new platform is expected to launch October 2021. Following the migration, AMEE will continue to fully control the MedEdPublish Platform, setting its scope and strategic direction. F1000 will assist AMEE by building and maintaining the new publishing platform, as well as providing additional support for authors. All articles published on the existing MedEdPublish site will be migrated onto the new platform, including all peer reviews and revisions. More information for authors is available here. Visit our ANNOUNCEMENT PAGE to stay up to date on the latest developments for the new home for AMEE’s existing, innovative approach to publishing medical and health professionseducation.

THEMED ISSUES
From July 2019 we are no longer publishing themed issues. Instead, we will produce curated collections of themed content following publication and peer review. Further details to follow... View Previous Themes Perhaps more than at any other time, the scholarship of medical education and the importance of medical education as a discipline are being recognised. Teaching skills are important in all phases of education. There is also a need to stimulate research in medical education and to disseminate the results to the practising teacher in order that evidence may inform teaching. The Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) is a worldwide organisation with individual, institutional and student members in 90 countries around the world.
