CARROLL COUNTY MAN SENTENCED TO 21 YEARS FOR POSSESSION JACKSON, Tenn. – Having been found guilty following a three-day jury trial in September 2020, William Farrell Russell, 47, has now been sentenced to 262 months in federal prison for possession and distribution of child pornography depicting the sexual abuse of children under twelve years of age. McKENZIE (January 29) — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday afternoon at The Fellowship Hall ahead of its Saturday grand opening. Owner-operators Weltonette and Jermaine Taylor welcomed community and business leaders, including Mayor Jill Holland, into the venue at 150 Broadway for a sneak peak at the various services offered at the newbusiness.

City of McKenzie Holds Memorial Day Event Huntingdon Hosts Annual Memorial Day Ceremony Memorializing Those Who Served CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO MANAGE FISHING TOURNAMENTS HUNTINGDON (May 25) — Carroll County Chamber of Commerce was granted the rights to administer future fishing tournaments on the Carroll County 1000-Acre Recreational Lake. During a meeting of the Carroll County Watershed Authority on Tuesday, May 25, the board voted unanimously to administer the tournaments, including the annual Bassmaster Junior High tournament.
