Welcome to our Truax Gateway. Sit down, take in the view, or relax by the fireplace. Have a question about where to go, how to get financial aid or how to apply? Ask an enrollment specialist at our Gateway Welcome Center. The Gateway Center was designed with our students' needs in mind. It's your portal to a great education. Be sure to check out The Gallery on the first floor. You'll see some fantastic pieces by local artists—Many of whom are our own studentsand staff.
On the second floor is the Gateway Café. They sell tasty treats and great coffee. Enjoy them while you study or take a break. There are café style tables here that feature plug-ins to charge your phone or laptop. How convenient is that? Also on the second floor is the Student Achievement Center. This outstanding learning facility offers tutoring in core subjects such as math, science, world languages and writing. You'll also find several study rooms equipped with flat screens and whiteboards for group study sessions. Our library is on the third floor. In addition to books and DVDs, you can check out a kindle, a nook, or an i-pad. Take in the incredible view from our study rooms. The library also has an easy access computer lab and many other resources—namely our helpful librarians.*
FITNESS AND ATHLETICS Our fitness center is a great place to reduce stress and stay healthy. All degree program students receive free access to our fitness center. Shoot hoops on our basketball court. Take a yoga class. Lift weights. Or plug your earbuds in and watch TV while you work out. Whateverworks for you!
Athletes and sports fans alike are proud to represent the Madison College WolfPack. Our athletics department is home to men’s and women’s basketball and soccer, men’s baseball and golf, and women’s softball and volleyball. Our facilities our outstanding, particularly the Goodman Sports Complex which houses softball, baseball and soccer. We are in the NJC-DOUBLE-A conference, divisions 2 and 3, and the North Central Community College Conference.*
MITBY THEATER
Culture thrives here at Madison College, especially in the Mitby Theater. This is where our performing arts department produces numerous plays each year. Other local and touring productions also perform in this space. The Mitby seats 975-people. In the last few years, our performing arts department has produced well known plays like ""To Kill A Mockingbird"" and has hosted many timely and relevant guest speakers, such as Yusef Salaam—who spoke to a sold-out and riveted crowd about his perilous journey from his wrongful conviction during the Central Park 5 trials, to his eventual exoneration and activism with theInnocence Project.

DINING AND LOUNGE AREAS Busy college students spend much of their time on campus. It can be difficult to find time to eat or take a break. Our Truax campus has many conveniences. Our cafeteria features wood-fired pizzas, daily entrees, salad bar, sandwich bar, grilled fare and whole food dining. We also have our own Starbucks and an ice cream bar. You can also choose to buy lunch from our Culinary Arts students, who serve up amazing dishes almost daily. Sometimes you need to just unwind and relax for a bit. You'll find comfortable spaces throughout campus. Many lounge areas feature comfy chairs and couches, and others offer tables where you can charge your laptop or phone. Our cosmetology students provide affordable salon and spa services at a low-cost. These students are receiving training from instructors on-site. Take advantage of of a full range of services from manicures and pedicures to haircuts, colorings and styles—all while helping our students gain hands-on experience!*
BAKING AND CULINARY
Our Culinary Arts program is known for turning our students' love for cooking into successful careers. This associate degree program trains students in many aspects of the food service industry. They prepare meals and learn techniques in a state-of-the-art kitchen and serve them in Diane’s Delicious Diner-our gourmet restaurant that is opento the public.
Our baking and decorative arts students learn the craft of creating fine desserts and chocolates. They sell their goods on campus in our Bakery during the school year so everyone can enjoy.*

INGENUITY CENTER
The Madison College Ingenuity Center is connected to our main entrance, called the Gateway. This facility is dedicated to the field of automated manufacturing. With 62-thousand-square-feet, you'll find a wide array of industry grade equipment such as 3D printers, laser-measuring machining devices and C-N-C simulators. Students can custom build materials using our Okuma turning center. Madison College works with industry and community leaders to ensure the training you receive is what you'llneed to find a job.
Graduates from our technical programs have a strong reputation with area employers. Your training includes direct experience each day with the latest technology you need to know. Learn from instructors who are experts in their fields and well-connected to help you find internship and job opportunities. If you develop an interest in pursuing a bachelor’s degree, many of our technical programs transfer directly toward 4-year colleges and universities.*
HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER Going into healthcare? You will eventually take classes and labs in our Health Education Center. You’ll receive extensive, realistic training before entering the work force or starting the on-site clinical portion of your education. Labs include simulated home and hospital environments, an optical dispensary, radiography labs, a fully functioning trauma room and adental clinic.
We also offer health services to students, provided by Group Health Cooperative. And our dental hygiene students perform low-cost care in our dental clinic. Plus, our therapeutic massage students need clients to practice on. It’s a great way to take care of yourself. This modern facility has many environmentally healthy features too. Including ground-sourced geothermal heating and cooling, energy efficient lighting, and a 13,300 square foot green roof. Plus, the exterior is made from limestone found right in our region.*

Our West Campus Corporate Training Center hosts corporate training for businesses and their employees across many fields. If you’re interested in professional development for yourself or your team, reach out and see how we can help you. We’re located on Madison’sfar west side.

COMMERCIAL AVENUE CAMPUS Our Commercial Avenue location currently serves as the primary training center for apprenticeships and construction trades. You will often see tiny houses and woodsheds in the parking lot. They will all be sold and used right in our community.*
PORTAGE CAMPUS
Our Portage campus may be small but it’s big on community. Walk in and you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff. Hang out in the student lounge, research a paper in the library and use any of our student services, including advising, right here at your convenience. ""Stay near to go far"" is the motto here at our Portage campus. Start working on a bachelor's degree or one of our degree programs that train you for a career. Our health and science labs are top-notch. And just down the road is the Portage Enterprise Center, where you can get hands-on training in welding and other related trades.*
