THEMEN: NACHHALTIGKEIT UND OZEAN Unser Thema ist das Meer und der Mensch. Je tiefer wir eindringen, desto deutlicher erkennbar wird der Einfluss des Menschen auf die natürlichen Vorgänge in den Meeren und Ozeanen und sein Anteil an deren Veränderung. Antworten zu finden auf die globale ökologische Krise steht im Mittelpunkt der Stiftung. Nachhaltige Entwicklung fordert langfristig, ganzheitlich orientiertes Handeln und ist nicht auf die nachhaltige Nutzung maritimer Ressourcen reduziert. Es gilt zu verdeutlichen, dass die belebte und unbelebte Natur einen Wert an sich darstellt und nicht ausschließlich in Bezug auf die Bedürfnisbefriedigung der Menschen gesehen werdendarf.
