LGBT Foundation’s Training Academy is for anyone wanting to increase their knowledge and confidence of LGBT inclusion at home, at work and in the community. LGBT Foundation’s grass-roots expertise and 45 years’ experience means we work with over 40,000 people per year and reaching 600,000 people online. In particular, our Pride inLGBT FOUNDATION
This course was designed to help anyone at LGBT Foundation who was leading or managing people to not just do it but do it well. The diploma covered a variety of areas across leadership, management, finance, coaching & mentoring, project management, management of selfand negotiation.

The programme originated from an innovation project led by Alzheimers Society, and continue to provide guidance and advice to the partnership led by LGBT foundation. Evidence tells us that there are currently 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK, and this is set to almost double to 1.6 million people by 2040 (AlzheimersSociety).

Since 2016, Pride in Practice has worked with over 250 primary care services and reached over 2 million patients across Greater Manchester.100% of health professionals trained can evidence improvements within their service as a result of Pride in Practice. 87% of primary care services trained have implemented NHS England’s Sexual Orientation Monitoring Information Standard and 60% haveLGBT FOUNDATION
In August 2020, LGBT Foundation published "You Build Your Own Family, that's how you get through it" a ground-breaking project looking at the impact of severe and multiple disadvantage on lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people. In the report, there are real stories of LGBT people who have experienced severe and multipledisadvantage (SMD).

The programme originated from an innovation project led by Alzheimers Society, and continue to provide guidance and advice to the partnership led by LGBT foundation. Evidence tells us that there are currently 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK, and this is set to almost double to 1.6 million people by 2040 (AlzheimersSociety).

In August 2020, LGBT Foundation published "You Build Your Own Family, that's how you get through it" a ground-breaking project looking at the impact of severe and multiple disadvantage on lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people.
