I’ve partnered with some of my favorite bloggers and here’s a little math to show you just how BIG this is 60 activities + 29 bloggers = an AHmazing month of hands-on science, tech, engineering 28 DAYS OF STEM ACTIVITIES AND STEAM ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS 28 Days of STEM Activities and STEAM Activities for Kids is loaded with hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math projects perfect for the classroom and at 10+ FUN PLAY AND LEARN MOON ACTIVITIES Awesome Play & Learn Moon Activities. The first of the moon activities is the easiest one. On a dark, clear night, do some moon watching. Ask the kiddos what they see and talk about where it is in the sky. This is a great chance for an open-ended conversation that encouragesobservation.
HOW TO MAKE EDIBLE WATER BUBBLES How to Make Edible Water Bubbles. The first step is to make the sodium alginate solution. Blend 1 gram sodium alginate in 1 cup of water (add food coloring if desired) in a small bowl with an immersion blender. Set aside for 10-15 minutes until there are no air bubbles and solution is crystal clear. While sodium alginate solution is resting THE SCIENCE OF ICE CREAM + ICE CREAM IN A BAG The more you shake, the smaller the ice crystals become and the more air is incorporated into the ice cream. Doing both makes for a creamier cream. You can also adjust the creaminess by changing the fat content of your dairy – heavy whipping cream has 6g of fat per Tbsp. vs 3.25g for whole milk. We went with half and half at 1.7g fat perTbsp.
