CAN SWIMMING IN A CHLORINATED POOL A WEEK AFTER GETTING A Two weeks after my first tattoo I had to go to Vegas, and with two young kids with me I pretty much had to go swimming. My tattoo is high on my shoulder so while it did get wet, I never really let it soak (unlike a foot tattoo like @growltiger 's). It was also healed enough at that point that I put sunscreen on it and also stayed in the shadeas much as I could.
DOES YOUR SKIN BREAK OUT AFTER BEING TATTOOED? Posted August 2, 2018. there's just really no way to tell right now, but it's probably just the natural healing process. in my experience people new to tattoos tend to worry more than is warranted. it'll probably be fine. and if it isn't you can ask the artist totouch it
TATTOO OUTLINE RAISED I seem to be hit or miss when healing tattoos. Ive had some issues a few times, but not all the time. Ive been working with the same artist for a few years now. He would definitely be known to many people on this forum. I just had some new work done 6 TEGADERM/SANIDERM/TATUDERM HEALING PROCESS I wash well after 3-4 hours and apply the -derm on well air dried skin. No cream. No extra washes and re-wraps. After 3x 24 hours I removed the -derm, wash well, air dry and re-apply. Removing on day 6 or 7 as I see the skin going flakey under the dressing. Tattoo healed,first peel done.

I want to get japanese style waves with a kraken wrecking a Japanese junk ship.Im hoping for it to start on my chest and reach up and around my shoulder. I live in CT and am looking fo OK TO WORKOUT BEFORE TATTOO? Thanks. No problem at all in my experience. I've done some tough workouts the day-of and been no worse for wear. I always hit the gym before getting a tattoo if I have time- although I don't work out hard enough to worry much about muscle fatigue. Just be sure to hit theshower in between.
THINKING ABOUT TATTOOING MY FAT BELLY. GOOD/BAD IDEA Im not SUPER fat. Im 6 foot and 230 pounds. I have a respectable gut, but Im not really fat all over. (Antidepressants are a bitch/life saver). I don't take on the day of the tattoo. I figure missing it for one day isn't going to affect my health and aspirin does thin the blood. The first one looks alright (its a lot smaller too), but this one seems to be looking pretty odd I got it two weeks ago and the first few days I washed it twice a day + A & D lotion. Posted August 2, 2018. there's just really no way to tell right now, but it's probably just the natural healing process. in my experience people new to tattoos tend to worry more than is warranted. it'll probably be fine. and if it isn't you can ask the artist totouch it
OK TO WORKOUT BEFORE TATTOO? Thanks. No problem at all in my experience. I've done some tough workouts the day-of and been no worse for wear. I always hit the gym before getting a tattoo if I have time- although I don't work out hard enough to worry much about muscle fatigue. Just be sure to hit theshower in between.
TEGADERM/SANIDERM/TATUDERM HEALING PROCESS I wash well after 3-4 hours and apply the -derm on well air dried skin. No cream. No extra washes and re-wraps. After 3x 24 hours I removed the -derm, wash well, air dry and re-apply. Removing on day 6 or 7 as I see the skin going flakey under the dressing. Tattoo healed,first peel done.
