MAX FACTOR FAMILY FOUNDATION The MFFF was created more than 70 years ago by six descendants of the legendary makeup mogul, Max Factor, Sr. It has grown to enter its fifth generation with dozens of Factor family members giving back to Southern California's Jewish community and the community at large. Max Factor III, grandson of Max Sr., is a Trustee of the familyfoundation.

We have structured the fund to support the Nico Linesch Boundary Crossing Scholarship, an annual celebration of Nico’s birthday. Her father was a successful small business owner, and in 1976, when Marcie was just 22, she founded Entertainment Data, Inc., the first-ever overnight reporting of film box office grosses. BRILLIANT CORNERS : JEWISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION LOS ANGELES Organization Description: Established in 2004 and operating in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles County, Brilliant Corners provides supportive housing that meets the unique needs of individuals experiencing homelessness. Its primary activities include housing development, supportive services, property management, and casemanagement.

JEWISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF LOS ANGELES: WELCOME The Donald Etra Futures Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles was established to celebrate and honor the life of Don Etra; loving husband of Paula, father of Harry, Dorothy, Anna and Jonathan, and friend to many. He is chairman and a principal owner of Domino Realty, a holding company for a multi-faceted international trading, apparel manufacturing, and real estate group. Mr. Gordon is actively involved in community activities. He is currently a member of the Jewish Federation Board of Directors, UCLA MARVIN SCHOTLAND : JEWISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION LOS ANGELES Marvin I. Schotland is president and chief executive officer of the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, the largest central clearinghouse for Jewish philanthropists in Southern California. ALEXANDRA SHABTAI : JEWISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION LOS ANGELES Alexandra Shabtai is a native to Los Angeles where she currently lives and works. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and completed a master's degree at USC Marshall School of Business in Social Entrepreneurship.
