From Monday to Saturday each week this service of Morning Prayer is said on Iona. Each day follows the same form but with different voices, songs, psalm, reading, and prayer of the day. All the words are included so you can join in with thoseresponding.

The Iona Community was founded in Glasgow and Iona in 1938 by George MacLeod, minister, visionary and prophetic witness for peace, in the context of the poverty and despair of the Depression. From a dockland parish in Govan, Glasgow, he took unemployed skilled craftsmen and young trainee clergy to Iona to rebuild both the monastic quarters of MEMBERSHIP - THE IONA COMMUNITY Become part of our movement. We invite you to join the Iona Community and so become part of a global movement. Together we seek a more just and equal society, a more sustainable way of living on the earth, and a progressive renewal of the Church and its worship.
