PHYSICAL THERAPY
Volunteers work to improve the quality of physical therapy services to patients in the CMC system through updating and broadening therapists’ knowledge of physical therapy theory and procedure. Typical treatment in the PT department on average lasts 20 minutes,totaling 1000
ANESTHESIA - HEALTH VOLUNTEERS OVERSEAS HVO volunteers will provide clinical and didactic pediatric anesthesia training to nurses enrolled in the nurse anesthetist training program at LFHC. Training will follow a defined curriculum and is designed to provide the knowledge, attitude, and skills needed to become nurse anesthetists. Volunteers will also provide continuing education toORTHOPAEDICS
Volunteers are needed to review, revise, and support the orthopaedic residency program, and to provide sub-specialty training for the general orthopaedic surgeons in trauma, infection control, pediatrics, hand surgery, spine surgery, orthopaedic oncology, arthroplasty, arthroscopic and sports surgery, and external fixators. Assignment:3-4 weeks.
