ROBOBREW/BREWZILLA DISCUSSION A clean thread for Robobrew and Brewzilla owners to compare experiences and share problems. I own a version 3.0 35L Robobrew With the upgraded 3.1.1 Brewzilla circuit boards. No regrets for me! I‘m sometimes frustrated by its limited capacity, but LENGTH OF 10/3 FOR 30AMP a good rule of thumb is that voltage drop doesn't start becoming an issue until the distance in feet is greater than the number of the voltage level (e.g. 120 ft for 120 volt, 240 ft for 240 volt, etc.) for residential applications, voltage drop is rarely an issue unless it is a gigantic house or circuits are run to out buildings that are a decent distance away. BEST NEIPA HOP COMBOS 2.5: .5 ratio of Citra/Columbus. 1:1:1 ratio of Simcoe/Centennial/Amarillo in flameout/whirlpool and then 1.5:1.5 ratio of Simcoe/Amarillo in dry hop. 100% Citra or 100% Mosaic is quite good for a single hop approach. I always bitter to 30-50 IBU'sat 60 minutes.

SUBSTITUTE FOR CARAVIENNE Hi All, I am going to brew a Saison tomorrow and my fermentables are as follows: 12 lbs Belgian pils, .5 lbs caravienne, 1 lbs cane sugar. Unfortunately, my LHBS was out of caravienne. Therefore, I decided to substitute 0.25 lbs crystal 20 and 0.25 Vienna. Anyone ever triedthis? Any
HOW TO ADAPT 4 WIRE TO 3 WIRE 220 VOLT? I currently use a dedicated 30 amp 220 volt 4 wire GFCI outlet in my unheated garage brew room to power up my RIMS kettle. It's been in the 20-32F range here and will be for the next several months. I'd like to use a 220 volt 5000 watt electric heater to keep the brew room warm incold weather
WHY ARE RED WINE KITS DISAPPOINTING? I've been making the WineExpert kits (Vintner's Reserve, International, and Eclipse) and I really like the whites, but I find the reds pretty weak. Hi everyone and greetings from Italy. I need a Honey malt substitute. I heard that clear melanoid malt can be a good substitute. In Italy is available only Château Melano light (15 L). I also heard that Colorado Honig malt can be a pretty good substitute, but his color is 6 ºL, and I know that Honey malt is 20L.
ELECTRICAL QUESTION ON CONNECTION Having my electrician come over to put in a subpanel with a GFCI 30 Amp breaker in it. He has specified a cord with an L15-30 receptacle. I have questioned him about it but he insists that is the correct plug for my needs. It seems to me an L14-30 is the better choice, but I amnot the

BRACCONIERE HOME MADE MALT Our friend and resident crazy brewer @bracconiere has #blessed me with some of his home malted grain and I intend to put it through its paces this Saturday for my first brew of 2021. There is only one brewing store in the country and the stock there is pretty thin. It's a beer focused shop so anything wine specific or outside the bare basics of even beer making they don't have it. Honestly I'mgrateful we have
