HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS THAT GENERATE REAL ANSWERS What to do instead. When phrasing questions of the heart, and of the business, there are three things I find important. 1. Details matter. The exact same question can have very different answers depending on the details and the context. Bring in all the details WHAT A SUNFLOWER CAN TEACH US ABOUT CONNECTION The sunflower doesn’t have to do anything but be itself, and when fully nourished it will naturally attract connection from other creatures. So perhaps like the sunflower, the key to being able to connect with others is to be fully nourished, so you can be open to connection on your own terms; lasting love and connection begins withyourself.

WHY MARKETING IS HATED Why marketing is hated — with examples of manipulation. Once upon a time, there was very little marketing needed. If you were the village blacksmith, or healer, people came to you. If you were a farmer or craftsperson, the extent of your marketing was going to market, and literally showing up at the marketplace. It helped to be warm andfriendly.

If you’re in business, you want people to be interested in what you do, but as you can see, it’s easy to freeze up and not know how to handle the moment gracefully.
