The architect, Robert Lablonde, received the 1990 Governor General's award for Architecture. Since opening in 1987, the Interpretive Centre has welcomed over 2.75 million visitors from around the world. We offer a variety of drop-in public programs for all ages throughout the day, from mid-May thru September. Our programs include hikes, tours, and hands-on demonstrations. Ask our staff about the day's offerings, listen for announcements when you visit, orTAKE A HIKE!
Be prepared for an off-trail hike and dress appropriately for inclement weather. 10:30 a.m. hike orientation at the Interpretive Centre.
