Nourish Our Keiki Food 4 Keiki Programs Hunger deprives our keiki of more than just food. It’s a simple fact: a child’s chance for a bright tomorrow starts with getting enough food to eat today. In Hawaii, 1 in 4 keiki may not know where they will get their next meal. For nearly 90,000 keiki in ‘OHANA PRODUCE PLUS ‘Ohana Produce Plus provides hungry keiki, kūpuna, families and individuals with greater access to fresh fruits and vegetables plus other supplementary food items. For more than 20 years, the program has distributed millions of pounds of fresh produce, assorted dry goods and non-perishable food items to under-served communities – all at no cost to its recipients.
