The long awaited reopening of the gates gives you access to over 120 acres of Gardens, Lakeside Walks, the Harewood Bird Garden and open spaces to enjoy, in addition to visiting a brand new exhibition in the House. We have been working hard behind-the-scenes to BRYAN ADAMS SUMMER TOUR Rescheduled date – all original tickets remain valid. PICNIC PROMS: SUMMER CONCERT SERIES Opening the Picnic Proms Summer Concert Series is Alfie Boe, joined by special guests Louise Dearman and Rachel Tucker. Ever since he exploded onto the music scene nearly 20 years ago, Alfie Boe, a veteran of the London stage and Broadway, has racked up one extraordinary achievement after another. THE OLDEST AND MOST EXPENSIVE RUM IN THE WORLD The Oldest and Most Expensive Rum in the World. In 2011, whilst preparing an inventory of wines and spirits in the dark cellars of Harewood House, Mark Lascelles and his colleague Andy Langshaw found something they did not expect. At the back of the farthest cellar they saw two dusty shelves, upon which sat some mysterious looking bottles.HAREWOOD HOUSE

Harewood Castle was designed to strike a balance between security and comfort: a “mixture of convenience and magnificence”, more accurately described as a fortified Tower House than a castle. Some of its features – the portcullis over the main entrance, the narrow arrow slit windows, the remains of metal grilles over the largerwindows

In 2011, whilst preparing an inventory of wines and spirits in the dark cellars of Harewood House, Mark Lascelles and his colleague Andy Langshaw found something they did not expect. At the back of the farthest cellar they saw two dusty shelves, upon which sat some mysterious looking bottles.
