Our days look pretty similar around here. While the big kids are in school, I spend my day entertaining this girl. Belle is obsessed with my mom's cat Sophie. (Sophie used to be my cat, but now lives with my mom). And Sophie usually does her best to stay away from my kids whenever they are over. HOW TO ORGANIZE AND PURGE YOUR HOME, ONE MONTH AT A TIME This post is sponsored by Allstate. All opinions are my own. With three little ones, a husband, a blog, social media channels to update, and kid’s activities, finding time to keep everything organized is a major challenge. I can DIY HANDPRINT PLATE · THE GIRL IN THE RED SHOES Let everything dry overnight. Then, put your plate in the oven and set it to 300 degrees. DO NOT pre-heat your oven (you don’t want your plate to crack from the heatinstead you want it to warm up gradually). Bake at 300 for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. But when he’s sweet, he’s DIY OBSTACLE COURSE FOR KIDS · THE GIRL IN THE RED SHOES They encourage kids to develop in six areas of executive function skills, all of which can be learned at an early age: teamwork, adaptability, self-control, critical thinking, problem solving, and working memory. For this obstacle course activity, I really tried to focus on three of these areas: problem solving, teamwork, andself-control.

VALENTINE'S DAY M&M COOKIE BARS · THE GIRL IN THE RED SHOES These cookie bars were a HUGE hit in my house. The squeals from my three kids over how yummy these are made the mess in my kitchen 100% worth it! But really, these are super easy to make. Plus, you can change up your M&M’s to fit any holiday! This recipe makes as little or as much as you want. We like to make a ton so that we can enjoy the leftovers! First, make a marinade TOILET PAPER ROLL REINDEER · THE GIRL IN THE RED SHOES Cheap and easy craft! Not pictured: hot glue gun and scissors. I started by wrapping each toilet paper roll in paper and glued the paper to the roll. Then I hand drew a reindeer antler template on to a piece of paper, and used it to create the felt antlers.
