_ _WHILE MOST PEOPLE COME TO THE SIG FOR THE ACADEMICS PORTION, MOST PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK FOR THE EXPERIENCE AND OPPORTUNITY TO MEET KIDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, WITH DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS BUT SAME POSITIVE AND INTELLECTUAL CURIOSITY. THERE IS NO OTHER CAMP THAT COMES EVEN CLOSE TO THAT. MY DAUGHTER AND I LOVE THE SIG GLOBAL PROGRAM._ _Parent,
SIG at SIG Global
_ _SIG WAS THE BEST SUMMER CAMP DECISION THAT I HAVE MADE. MY DAUGHTER GAINED CONFIDENCE IN LIVING INDEPENDENTLY FROM HOME AND BEING RESPONSIBLE TO MANAGE HER SCHEDULE AND DORM ROOM. THE CLASSES WERE FOCUSED ON ACADEMICS; HOWEVER, THEY MADE IT SO FUN MY DAUGHTER LOVED EACH CLASS, EVEN ALGEBRA! SHE FELT THAT ALL THE STUDENTS ENCOURAGED HER AND THEY SUPPORTED ONE ANOTHERS LEARNING. THE PEER GROUPS WERE EXCELLENT, THE COUNSELORS WERE EXCELLENT AND YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE CAMPUS EXPERIENCE._ _Parent,
SIG at Emory University _ _NEVER HAS OUR SON FELT SAFE ENOUGH TO PERFORM BEFORE HIS PEERS. SIG GAVE HIM THAT OPPORTUNITY. HE SANG HIS HEART OUT. HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT AND NEITHER DID SIG, THEY GAVE HIM A STANDING OVATION._ _Parent,
SIG at Bryn Mawr College _ _I RELISHED BEING AT THE SIG AT EMORY CAMPUS. THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WAS INEFFABLE; THE ACADEMIC PART IS NOT THE ONLY PART OF SIG. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT WHAT MADE MY EXPERIENCE IN SIG SO JOYFUL WAS THAT I COULD EXPRESS WHO I AM AND BE WHO I AM._ _Student,
SIG at Emory University _ _EVEN ON HER 6TH SIG CAMP EXPERIENCE, MY DAUGHTER EAGERLY LOOKED FORWARD TO PARTICIPATING. IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SEE THE FRIENDS SHE HAS MADE FROM AROUND THE GLOBE AND TO KNOW SHE IS PART OF A COHORT OF FUTURE KEY INNOVATORS. SIG GIVES THEM A BACKDROP TO EXPLORE THEIR OWN POTENTIALS WHILE ALSO HAVING A GREAT TIME AND LEARNING SO MANY THINGS ON BOTH INTELLECTUAL AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL PLANES._ _Parent,
SIG at multiple campuses _ _WHEN MY DAUGHTER SPENDS THREE WEEKS AT SIG, ITS LIKE SHE ENTERS INTO A PERFECT WORLD OF FRIENDSHIP, MAGIC AND SELF DISCOVERY. MY FAVORITE PART OF THE DAY IS WHEN I PICK HER UP AFTERWARDS AND SHE CANNOT STOP TALKING! I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF HER SAYING: "MOM, GUESS WHAT...", "DID YOU KNOW THAT...", "MY FRIEND SAID..." "I WONDER IF..." AND "I WAS THINKING THAT..." _ _Parent,
SIG at Sarah Lawrence _ _THE SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR THE GIFTED WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FOR OUR SON. HE BECAME MORE CONFIDENT ACADEMICALLY AND ARTISTICALLY. THE TEACHERS BROUGHT OUT THE BEST IN HIM. SIG WAS HIS FIRST TIME AWAY FROM HOME WITHOUT A FAMILY MEMBER. AFTER A DAY OR TWO, HE WAS TOTALLY INTO HIS SCHEDULE AND HAVING A GREAT TIME WITH HIS NEW FRIENDS. THE STAFF WERE PHENOMENAL. THEY WERE 100% FOCUSED ON CREATING THE BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE FOR THE KIDS (AND PARENTS). WE WILL DEFINITELY PARTICIPATE NEXT SUMMER!_ _Parent,
SIG at Yale University _ _THE FIRST DAY SHE CAME HOME TELLING EVERYONE, WHO WOULD LISTEN, HOW INCREDIBLE THE TEACHERS WERE AND THAT THEY TOOK THE TIME TO ASK HER WHAT SHE WANTED TO LEARN, "MOMMY, THEY CARE ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO LEARN!" HOW AMAZING IS THAT? _ _Parent,
SIG at University of Miami Day Program _ _AT SIG, I CAN TELL THAT THE INSTRUCTORS ARE ABLE TO QUICKLY FIND THE THRESHOLD OF THE CAPABILITIES OF MY DAUGHTER IN EACH SUBJECT. THEY ARE ABLE TO WALK THAT FINE LINE BETWEEN WHAT SHE KNOWS HOW TO DO AND WHERE HER EFFORT CAN BE FOCUSED TO BREAK THROUGH TO NEW KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES! NOT ONLY IS IT A PERFECT BALANCE IN EDUCATING HER, BUT HER SPIRIT COMES ALIVE WITH CURIOSITY, INTEREST, AND A FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT AS SHE SEES HERSELF LEARN NEW THINGS! _ _Parent,
SIG at Sarah Lawrence _ _GABBY HAS THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE SIG EXPERIENCE AND IS SURE TO RETURN NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY AND EXPOSURE TO MINGLE WITH KIDS JUST LIKE HER!_ _Parent,
SIG at Emory University Day Program _ _ELIANA CAME HOME WITH AN ENERGY THAT WE HAVE NOT SEEN IN HER IN QUITE A WHILE. SHE WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT HER DAY... TELLING US ALL ABOUT HER CLASSES, THE NEW FRIENDS SHE MADE, AND EVEN HOW YOU ALL ENSURED THAT SHE HAD A DELICIOUS GLUTEN FREE LUNCH. I WAS SUPER IMPRESSED BY WHAT I HEARD, HOW ENGAGED SHE SOUNDED, HOW EMPOWERED THE KIDS WERE TO THINK AND REFLECT AND PROBLEM SOLVE. IT IS SO REFRESHING TO SEE HER EXCITED ABOUT LEARNING AGAIN._ _Parent,
SIG at The Woods Academy, Day Program _ _MY CHILD REALLY ENJOYED THE THREE WEEKS AND ENDED UP WITH A HIGHER INTEREST IN MATH. EVERY WEEK THE ASSIGNMENT DESIGNED WAS BOTH INTERESTING AND CHALLENGING IN CERTAIN WAYS WHICH HELPED KEEP THE INTEREST OF LEARNING AND GUARANTEED A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING. THAT ISGREAT!_ _
Parent,
SIG at Stuart Country Day School _ _HAVING ATTENDED A SIG DAY PROGRAM FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE SUMMERS, MY DAUGHTERS EXPERIENCES HAVE BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF HER STORIES WHEN SHE DESCRIBES HER FAVORITE THINGS TO LEARN AND DO._ _Parent,
